Heitkamp & Thumann Group announces organizational changes

As of January 1, 2022 the Holding of the Heitkamp & Thumann Group, the Heitkamp & Thumann KG, will be called Heitkamp & Thumann GmbH & Co. KG. The shareholder families will continue to hold 100% of the equity of the Group.

As part of these changes, Christian Diemer, CEO and General Partner, will leave the Group at the end of this year. Christian Diemer joined the Group in 1993 and became CEO of the Group in 2014.

Harald Langerbeins, CFO, will also leave the Group at the end of this year. He joined in 1999 and was CFO of the Group since 2014.

We thank Christian for 29 years and Harald for 23 years of loyalty and their extraordinary commitment and wish them all the best for their professional and personal future,” said Engelbert A. Heitkamp, Chairman of the Advisory Board.

Following these changes, Dr. Stefan Hauk will become CEO of the Group. He is currently CEO of Westfalia Metal Hoses Group which was part of the Heitkamp & Thumann Group until 2019. Dietmar Schmitz will become CFO, responsible for Finance and Compliance of the Group. Christian Krätzig will continue to be responsible for H&T Presspart as well as the Group’s H&T Excellence Program.

Additionally, the Group Executive Committee will be joined by Gerd Schröder and Tobias Ott from January 1, 2022 onwards. Gerd Schröder will be responsible for H&T Battery Components Alkaline and Tobias Ott for H&T Battery Components Rechargeable. Gerd Schröder started as an engineer in 1998 at H&T Battery Components Alkaline and today is Director Global Operations for this Division. Tobias Ott joined Heitkamp & Thumann Group in 2010 and currently he is Managing Director of H&T Battery Components Rechargeable.
