H&T Tool Design: Now certified as „Excellent Training Company 2017”

For school children who are looking for a training place, it is often difficult to recognize how good training companies really are. The "Excellent Training Company" label provides them a reliable and neutral guidance.

As one of the first companies this year, H&T Tool Design, a company of the Heitkamp & Thumann Group, is awarded the "Excellent Training Company 2017" certificate for its outstanding training quality. H&T Tool Design also qualifies employees for its sister companies’ H&T Battery Components and H&T Presspart, located in Marsberg as well. Assignments in all three companies enable all trainees to have a wide range of training content.

In an anonymous survey, apprentices answered around 100 detailed questions about the quality of their training. Topics were e.g. the training content, the treatment of trainees within the company or the future opportunities.

"The certificate reliably shows how good a training company actually is," says economics psychologist Judith Grefe from "ertragswerkstatt", who carried out the audit. Only companies that receive high marks from their apprentices and are particularly committed to their training are certified as "Excellent Training Company 2017".

The initiative is the largest independent and neutral certification for training companies across Germany.

"We are currently training 35 apprentices in the training area electronics, mechatronics, industrial mechanics, tool mechanics and also industrial managers. We are extremely pleased with the results and it is an incentive for us to continuously strive to further improve our training," emphasizes H&T Tool Design’s plant manager Roland Niggeweg.
