Group Organizational Changes 2020

We are pleased to announce the following changes as of January 1, 2020 within the Group Executive Committee (GEC):

Peter Schmelzer, General Partner of the Group, will become President of the H&T Battery Components Division, being our Alkaline and Rechargeable businesses. Peter will also become Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Heitkamp & Thumann Group and continue to reside in the Unites States.

Christian Krätzig will become President of the H&T Presspart Division. Christian was Managing Director of H&T Presspart in Marsberg and Blackburn before he assumed the responsibility for the H&T Battery Components Alkaline business.

Julian Hemy and Victor Torres will continue as members of the management board of the H&T Presspart Division.

Christian Diemer, CEO and General Partner of the Group, thanks Christian Krätzig for his contribution to the strong development of the H&T Battery Components Alkaline business and Peter Schmelzer for his leadership of the Rechargeable business, especially H&T Nevada, and wishes both of them much success in their new responsibilities.
