H&T Battery Components fuels further growth in the advanced energy storage markets
- H&T Battery Components has taken over all shares of HTTM LLC and H&T Nevada LLC at end of third quarter 2016.
- H&T Nevada LLC will be operational by the end of 2016, creating more than 100 new jobs in Sparks, Nevada.

Waterbury, October 19, 2016 - H&T Battery Components a division of the Heitkamp & Thumann Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of precision-formed metal and plastic components has taken over Trans-Matic Manufacturing Company Inc. shareholding in HTTM LLC, Holland, Michigan (40%) and H&T Nevada LLC, Sparks, Nevada (50%).

The Heitkamp & Thumann Group and Trans-Matic began working together in 2008, formalizing a legal entity, HTTM LLC for the purpose of supplying metal formed components to makers of rechargeable batteries worldwide. In 2015 HTTM LLC acquired a strategic customer for metal containers for Li-Ion batteries resulting in the decision to establish a new manufacturing site in Sparks, Nevada operating under the legal name H&T Nevada LLC.

The Heitkamp & Thumann Group is currently investing significantly in self-developed proprietary production technology for H&T Nevada, creating more than 100 new jobs in Sparks. The facility is expected to be operational by the end of 2016.
