Heitkamp & Thumann Group: 21 young people start their apprenticeships

August/ September 2018 - 21 trainees have started their vocational training at the German subsidiaries of the Heitkamp & Thumann Group. Currently, 67 employees are undergoing training at one of the three German locations of the Group. The globally operating Hidden Champion is thus maintaining its apprenticeship quota at a consistently high level with 7% of employees in Germany.

In 2018, H&T Tool Design, the main training company of the Group in Marsberg, achieved its recertification as an "Excellent Vocational Training Company". The company's own trainees attest outstanding training quality and praise the varied education, an all-encompassing teaching of the training contents, as well as the internal, intensive and individual examination preparation for all trained occupations.

The German subsidiaries of the Heitkamp & Thumann Group currently offer vocational training in 11 different professions. New this year is the vocational training as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology. The Group is thus also setting an example for the future expansion of its plastics components production in Germany.
