The SAP implementation at Presspart Blackburn has been awarded with the bronze quality award 2010 UK & Ireland in the SME (small & medium enterprises) category.

 

As an integral part of SAP’s quality program, the Quality Awards were created to reward and recognize customers that have used SAP’s quality principles in achieving smooth implementations that successfully realized business requirements to deliver anticipated benefits.

 

During the multistage application process, Presspart could demonstrate its compliance with the SAP quality principles, focusing on rapid time to value, maintaining a high level of quality throughout the project and ensuring operational readiness to a judging panel of senior SAP staff.

 

Since SAP's definition of SME comprises companies of up to 500mio EUR turnover, Presspart can be proud of this award. It managed to compete with much larger companies, even though it could not make individuals 100% available to work on the implementation project. Also Presspart is the only awarded company within the SME category that does manufacturing - a major driver of complexity.
